Repair Steam Iron Philips G7030

Problem:

Steam-hotwater conduct was leaking.
Since a spare steam conduit was difficult to find I did reduce the length of the steam tube.

Tools

All screws are Torx TX-20 with tamper proof protection. You need the correct screwdriver (Looks like torx but with hole in the center.

THe lid on top of the iron is held by two clips in the handle. Push on both sides of the plastic while lifting up to remove.
